Drunken Contacts FAQ

Some answers to the most popular questions around our app Drunken Contacts. Have a question that is not answered on this page? Please contact us using the “Contact us” link to the right.

Q: What does the “No name” label mean in my results list?
A: The “No name” label is used if there was neither a first- nor a last-name on file for a contact. By taping on a row you can show the contacts details and add a first- or last-name if desired.

Q: Why have many Contacts the same “Added:” date?
A: Unfortunately, if you enter contact information on your PC or Mac and the sync these contacts over to the iPhone, the iPhone will record the sync time as the time/date the contacts was created. Thus all the contacts have the same added date have either really been added on this day on your phone or were just synced to the iPhone on this date.

Q: Can I switch the display order of the name (Firstname Lastname vs. Lastname Firstname)?
A: Yes, you can! Drunken Contacts automatically recognizes this preference from your iPhone settings (Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Display Order) and uses the same scheme your are used to see from the Contacts app on your phone. If you want to change the display order, all you have to do is change it in the settings app as described above and Drunken Contacts will use your updated settings.
